Reconstruction / Deconstruction : Music For the Broken Frame Film Project - available now at www.cdbaby.com/cd/bretellerton

This music was created by Bret Ellerton for the film by Paul Gorman called “Broken Frame: The Movie That Took 22 Years to Make”. The film consisted of three parts.  The first part, a documentary called “Reconstructing Broken Frame”, was about the process of resurrecting an old film project and why it took so long to finish.  Track 5 – Reconstruction – was the music for this section of film.  The second section of the film was called “Broken Frame” and was the actual film that took so long to finish.  Track 4 – Imprisoned – was the only track that was used in this section.  The other three tracks – Night Driver, Suspect, and These Things Happen, were musical themes created for “Broken Frame” that were not used in the movie. The third section of film was called “Deconstructing Broken Frame” and included Track 6 – Deconstruction - as the musical score.  The final section of film contains interviews with actors from “Broken Frame” (after having seen the film 22 years later) and highlights moments from the film’s first screening.
